Viewed this film chronicling the civil rights movements through the political lens of the White House and featuring Forest Whitaker and Oprah Winfrey. Many other name-brand celebs had roles including Robin Williams, John Cusack, Jane Fonda, Vanessa Redgrave, Cuba Gooding Jr., and Alan Rickman. It was a long film (over 2 hours) and the preceding previews and following tea and éclair easily made it an entire afternoon. I went with some of the BWC group and I continue to like their company and English conversation! I give the movie 3 1/2 stars…lots of interesting content but it moves slow at times and I couldn’t get beyond Oprah being a talk show host!
