I have discovered through several days of outdoor trial and mostly error, that any degree Celsius lower than 10 should be accompanied by a coat and gloves. Also that wall heaters only heat the space one foot in front of them to the point of feeling like summer while any venture beyond that boundary can be a little chilly. And that wearing two pairs of socks prevents the wood floor from freezing off your warts (if you have any). And the water from the water heater can still come out scalding even if the air around it is arctic. And finally, that it’s very difficult to get up from under the covers for a bathroom run in the middle of the night.
