It’s almost 10 o’clock and I’m eating my second helping of pumpkin spice cookies with a glass of milk. It’s like pie without the whipped cream! Earlier I cooked and ate gourmet: roast turkey with carmelized shallot and craisin gravy, sautéed brussel sprouts, honey buttered carrots and parsnips with sage and the highlight…..drumstick roll…..StoveTop stuffing!
Before that I successfully picked up my next year residence card at the prefecture and this evening, I went to a private negociant wine tasting with R & T and came home with a bottle of St. Estephe-très très bien.
Now, I am sitting cuddled in my dad’s bathrobe listening to Charlie Brown Christmas jazz and thinking how thankful I am for everyone and everything that makes my world complete. Goodnight dad. I love you forever.
